Lessons from the brands redefining retails in the omnichannel era.
Download the reportOn Thursday May 30th, 36 of our crowd completed a charity walk for Rosemere Cancer Foundation. Beginning at our Matrix Park warehouse and ending at our Martland Park warehouse in Wigan, this 11.2 mile journey marked the beginning of our partnership with Rosemere Cancer Foundation, our chosen charity partner for the year.
The foundation is renowned for its unwavering support of world-class cancer treatment across Lancashire and South Cumbria, making a significant difference in the lives of countless individuals affected by cancer. It’s a topic that sits close to many of our colleagues’ hearts - and one we’re more than happy to support.
The charity walk was the first of many events we have planned to support the Rosemere Cancer Foundation and we’re eager to continue making a substantial impact with future initiatives.
We’re thrilled to announce that 36 of us conquered the 12-mile distance in just over 3.5 hours, raising an incredible £1,499 so far for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation. We also had the support of our partners from Festive Lights join us for the walk - and even managed to stop for a cheeky drink along the way!
Katie, our Head of Brand, shared her thoughts on the day: "It was fantastic to get out with the team and connect with colleagues we don't often get to see. The sun came out for the walk, and I found myself wishing I’d brought my sunglasses! We ended the day with delicious pizza, kindly organised by Festive Lights. Walking alongside Festive Lights was also wonderful; it was a great opportunity to spend time with our longest-standing network partner."
And our efforts don’t just stop here. We have a series of events lined up to further support the Rosemere Cancer Foundation. If you’d like to contribute to our cause and help Rosemere continue its vital work, please visit our JustGiving page.
Together, we’ve taken significant strides (literally) to support Rosemere in its mission to provide exceptional care and support for those affected by cancer. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us move closer to our goal. Let’s continue to make every step count!
The fulfilmentcrowd team is committed to making a difference, and our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy is at the heart of our efforts. We are dedicated to sustainable practices and social responsibility, ensuring that our operations positively impact the environment and the communities we serve. Looking to the future, we plan to further integrate ESG principles into our business model, enhancing our sustainability initiatives and expanding our support for charitable organisations like the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
We invite you to join us in our ongoing efforts. Your support is invaluable as we strive to assist the Rosemere Cancer Foundation in its incredible work. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.
